My passion for photography started in 1987 while I was at school and, following A Levels and an Art and Design Foundation Course at Bradford College, I was honoured to gain a place on the prestigious Documentary Photography course in Newport, Gwent where I became an expert in using both film and transparency. I then worked as a freelance photographer for a few years, working for magazines, local businesses and local newspapers.
Today I specialise in pet photography, both portrait and action, mostly dogs and horses. I also photograph children and families.
I own two dogs, Roxy a Spaniel and Denim a Shetland Sheepdog, and as well as enjoying lots of walks with them, I also compete at agility with both dogs. I also own a cat called Cookie.
I am also a horse rider and have been horse mad since about 5 years old, I love going out for hacks on my friend's horse Gemma.
Below are some photos from my college days in the early 90s of traveller children living in Cardiff, taken on a medium format film camera.
Below are some of my recently published photos in Dogs Today Magazine either in the 'Dog Crush' sections or in the 'Best Dog Photos in the World' sections.
Below that are the awards I have won.
